Oversigt
Den onde Sortskæg dukker op i en lille by i New England. Hans forbandelse er nemlig, at han må leve i denne mellemtilstand, indtil han har gjort en god gerning. Det får han chance for, da han beslutter sig for at hjælpe det lokale college-atletikhold, som absolut ikke har nogen chance for at vinde. Og det viser sig, at han er fuld af holdånd.
