Als der arme Schüler You Satou eines Tages den Supermarkt betritt, sieht er dort ein Angebot für ein Bento zum halben Preis. Nichtsahnend greift er danach, nur um daraufhin bewusstlos am Boden zu enden. Durch diese Aktion wird ihm bewusst, dass ein erbitterter, gnadenloser "Supermarkt-Überlebenskampf" um Bentos zum halben Preis tobt.
