Επισκόπηση
1843, Δημοκρατία του Τέξας. Ο Τζέικ Κάτερ είναι ένας σκληρός συνοριοφύλακας που αναμετράται με μια συμμορία, τους Κομαντσέρος, που εμπορεύονται όπλα μέσω του Μεξικού. Θα συμμαχήσει με τον Κρόου, έναν ατίθασο μισό λευκό, μισό Ινδιάνο, που γνωρίζει τα κατατόπια για την κρυψώνα της συμμορίας πέρα από τα σύνορα. Αλλά ο Κρόου σκοτώνεται γρήγορα και τώρα ο Κάτερ στρέφεται στον Πολ Ρέγκερτ, έναν χαρτοπαίκτη, καταζητούμενο για φόνο.
