Ένας μηχανικός προβολής επισκέπτεται το σπίτι της κοπέλας που αγαπά. Πέφτοντας θύμα μηχανορραφίας του αντίζηλού του, διώχνεται ως κλέφτης. Κατά φαντασία ντετέκτιβ καθώς είναι (επηρεασμένος από τα αστυνομικά του αναγνώσματα) θα χρησιμοποιήσει τις αμφισβητούμενες ικανότητες του για να διαλευκάνει την υπόθεση και να αποκαταστήσει την αλήθεια.
