Yleiskatsaus
Railakkaassa koko perheen komediassa huonotapainen Beethoven-koira sekoitetaan vahingossa varakkaan perheen täydellisesti koulutettuun bernhardinkoiraan. Hienostohurtta päätyy siis Newtonien tuiki tavalliseen perheeseen, ja vanha tuttu Beethoven puolestaan pääsee muhkeaan kartanoon nauttimaan gourmet-herkuista ja hemmottelusta. Sekaannus aiheuttaa molempien koirien perheissä niin kummastusta kuin sekasortoakin.
