Synopsis
Au XIVe siècle, dans la campagne suédoise. Karin, fille unique d’un riche fermier, doit se rendre à l’église du village voisin pour y porter des cierges. Sa soeur adoptive Ingeri part avec elle mais l’abandonne en chemin. Karin va alors croiser la route de trois bergers aux intentions douteuses…
