Synopsis
1926. Alors que son mari infidèle (Timothy Dalton) lui annonce son intention de divorcer, Agatha Christie le supplie avant de s’enfuir devant son intransigeance. Bientôt la nouvelle de sa disparition fait la une des journaux. Le journaliste américain Wally Stanton (Dustin Hoffman), un admirateur, se lance à sa trace.
