Synopsis
New York, 1987. David, 17 ans, vit avec ses parents et son grand-père à Brighton Beach, un quartier où vivent de nombreux immigrants russes d'origine juive. Il participe régulièrement aux réunions de prières juives ("minians"). David, qui découvre son homosexualité, commence à trouver les règles strictes de sa communauté juive de plus en plus oppressantes.
