Áttekintés
Ebben a filmben Chaplin kétbalkezes szabóinas, szédült nőbolond, aki méreteket véve egy kuncsaftról, a szép hölgyről a centiméterrel átfogja a bábut is, és hozzáméri a derékbőséghez. Tönkreteszi a vasalni való nadrágokat, s amikor a türelmét vesztett mester kirúgja, fölcsap grófnak egy lányos háznál, hogy ott, a "másik közegben", a gazdagoknál másfajta dolgokat műveljen.
