Trama
Il film ruota intorno ai tentativi dello scrittore Thad Beaumont di eliminare il suo pseudonimo, George Stark. Tuttavia il suo pseudonimo è diventato un'entità fisica e sta terrorizzando la famiglia Beaumont. Lo sceriffo Alan Pangborn di Castle Rock, investiga sul caso.
