Trama
Finto documentario su un candidato emergente per il Senato degli Stati Uniti scritto e diretto dall'attore Tim Robbins. Bob Roberts è un cantante folk con una differenza: offre brani che protestano contro gli scalpellatori del welfare, i piagnucolii liberali e simili. Mentre i realizzatori seguono la sua campagna, Robbins offre una visione nitida del modo in cui i candidati manipolano i media.
