Trama
In un paesino della Nuova Zelanda le quattro sorelle Leslie restano sole quando scoppia la seconda guerra mondiale. Dei loro uomini, richiamati al fronte, ne tornerà uno solo.Drammone in bianco e nero e in cinemascope, tratto da un romanzo di James Michener. Ottime le attrici. Ma mentre loro si dibattono contro le sventure, noi lottiamo con Morfeo.
