Trama
Stati Uniti, 1997: la delinquenza è fuori controllo, e New York è stata trasformata in un carcere di massima sicurezza dove vengono rinchiusi tutti i reietti della società. Quando un commando terrorista dirotta il jet su cui viaggia il presidente, facendolo precipitare proprio sulla città, le autorità si rivolgono a un ex marine condannato per rapina, una leggenda: Jena Plissken.
