Una storia americana
Trama
I Friedman sono una famiglia della media borghesia che vive a Great Neck, sobborgo residenziale di Long Island. Il 26 novembre del 1987, giorno della festa del Ringraziamento, la porta della loro casa esplode, fatta a pezzi da un ariete della polizia. Gli agenti irrompono e accusano il capofamiglia Arnold e il figlio più giovane Jesse di atti di pedofilia aggravati da atti di violenza.
