Trama
Prima regia shakespeariana di Laurence Olivier per il cinema. La guerra di Enrico V contro i Francesi. Le vittoriose battaglie, il matrimonio con Caterina di Troyes, figlia di Carlo VI... Figurativamente eccezionale, prende le mosse da un teatro elisabettiano ricostruito in studio e, seguendo alla lettera il copione di Shakespeare, si fonde poi magnificamente con un'ambientazione più cinematografica.
