Trama
Sudafrica, 11 luglio 1963. Diversi membri dell'African National Congress, un'organizzazione dichiarata illegale, vengono arrestati a Rivonia, una casa di campagna vicino a Johannesburg. I detenuti, insieme a Nelson Mandela, in carcere dal 1962, sono accusati di gravi crimini per il loro attivismo radicale contro il regime dell'apartheid.
