Trama
Lo psichiatra Clive Esmond è convinto di poter arginare le tendenze criminali del giovane fuggitivo Frank Clements. A tal fine, decide di nasconderlo in casa sua, nonostante l'ostilità della moglie Glenda. A stretto contatto con Frank, Glenda comincia però a provare sentimenti differenti che la portano a pianificare una fuga.
