Trama
Il film si svolge nei tre giorni precedenti l'omicidio di Lennon ed è destinato a essere un'esplorazione della psiche di Chapman, senza mettere in evidenza l'omicidio. Il titolo "Capitolo 27" suggerisce una continuazione del romanzo di J.D. Salinger The Catcher in the Rye, che ha 26 capitoli, e che Chapman trasportava quando ha sparato a Lennon.
