概要
地球のはるか彼方に位置する、植民地化が進む惑星オシリス。宇宙船フローティアに乗り、上空でオシリスを管理する任務に就くケイン中尉は、訪ねてきた娘のインディとの休暇を過ごす。だが、オシリスの刑務所に収監されていた囚人たちが脱獄し、その中に人類を滅亡させるウイルスの感染者がいることがわかる。惑星ごと破壊することを上官が決意したのを知ったケインは、娘の救出に向かうが不時着し、そこに居合わせた元囚人のサイと首都を目指す。
