Overzicht
Om zijn stervende vader te redden, verkoopt motorstuntman Johnny Blaze zijn ziel aan Mephistopheles. Maar de duivel misleidt hem en zijn vader sterft alsnog. Gedesillusioneerd verlaat Johnny de stad en laat zijn hele leven, waaronder zijn vriendin Roxanne, achter zich. Jaren later is Johnny een beroemde motorstuntman waarbij hij zijn leven willens en wetens in de waagschaal legt voor zijn stunts.
