Overzicht
De op macht beluste leraar Will Cantrell moet bij de verkiezing tot maarschalk zijn nederlaag toegeven tegen cowboy Bob Seton. Bovendien strijdt de nieuw geslagen wetshandhavingsfunctionaris om de gunst van de mooie bankiersdochter Mary McCloud, die Cantrell voor zich wil winnen. Al snel blijkt dat de leraar iets verbergt en betrokken is bij strafbare feiten.
