"Wspólna sprawa", dokument zrealizowany wspólnie przez Roba Epsteina i Jeffreya Friedmana dostał Oscara w 1990 roku. Film przedstawia losy kilku osób upamiętnionych na gigantycznej "kołdrze AIDS", uszytej z setek pojedynczych, z których każda to memoriał dla jednej z ofiar epidemii.
