Opis
Akcja filmu toczy się we francuskiej miejscowości Montauban w 1944 roku. Julien Dandieu (Philippe Noiret) jest chirurgiem w lokalnym szpitalu. Wystraszony niemiecką armią obejmującą Montauban prosi przyjaciela Francois (Jean Bouise), kierowcę jego żony (Romy Schneider) i córki (Catherine Delaporte), aby zawiózł je do krajowej wioski, gdzie Julien ma stary pałacyk.
