Sinopse
Um retrato do venerado poeta e músico armênio do século XVIII Sayat Nova, o "Rei da Canção." Por meio de sua poesia e de uma série de cenas extravagantes, o filme mostra sua vida desde o humilde tecelão até o menestrel do rei e monge recluso antes de ser martirizado por sua fé ao invadir os persas.
