Sinopse
Na primavera de 1991, Rodney King, um motorista negro, foi brutalmente espancado por quatro policiais brancos de Los Angeles após uma perseguição em alta velocidade. Um morador das proximidades gravou o espancamento da varanda de seu apartamento. Quando a fita foi levada ao público, os policiais foram julgados e considerados inocentes. A cidade explodiu em motins que resultaram no pior conflito civil na história dos EUA.
