Sinopse
Na trama, um cientista chamado Gabriel (Rufus Sewell) desaparece durante uma viagem de negócios, deixando sua esposa Marika (Gillian Anderson) e seu filho Erol (Haley Joel Osment) para trás sem saber o que aconteceu com ele. As circunstâncias inexplicáveis do sumiço levam Erol a pesquisar fenômenos sobrenaturais. Um dia, ele descobre a possibilidade de viajar no tempo através de portais, e parte em busca do pai desaparecido.
