Sinopse
O cientista Seth Brundle testa uma máquina de teletransporte de matéria e inadvertidamente permite que uma mosca entre na câmara junto com ele. Quando se dá a reintegração, o DNA de Seth funde com o do inseto, dando início a uma perigosa mutação genética. A transformação é testemunhada pela jornalista Veronica Quaife.
