Prezentare
După ce John Weston a eliberat un orășel de bandiți, i se oferă slujba de șerif, pe care o refuză politicos pentru că are deja o nouă sarcină: vrea să demonstreze că există manipulare și înșelăciune la un mare rodeo în zonă. El se preface că este un călăreț și este șantajat la scurt timp după aceea – se spune că pierde intenționat și, prin urmare, crește pariurile. Când nu se conformează, vor să-l omoare.
