Översikt
Spelaren och kvinnotjusaren Johnnie Aysgarth träffar en dag på Lina, de blir förälskade och gifter sig med varandra. Lina som kommer från ett mycket välbärgat hem tror dock efter ett tag att Johnnie bara är ute efter hennes pengar. Pengar som han kan använda till sitt spelande. Ju längre tiden går desto mer misstänksam blir hon mot honom.
