เรื่องย่อ
เรื่องราวของ "เดฟ โควิก" หนุ่มที่มีใบหน้าเหมือนประธานาธิบดีสหรัฐ ที่ต้องมาเป็นตัวแทนประธานาธิบดีตัวจริงซึ่งเจ็บป่วย เขาสามารถทำหน้าที่นี้ได้อย่างดีเยี่ยม แต่ทว่ายิ่งเดฟอยู่ที่ทำเนียบขาวนานเท่าไหร่ ก็ยิ่งรู้ว่ารัฐบาลไม่ได้ทำอะไรเพื่อประชาชนเลยมากเท่านั้น ทำให้เขาอยากจะทำอะไรบางอย่างเพื่อเปลี่ยนแปลงประเทศให้ดีขึ้นอย่างที่ควรจะเป็น
