简介
生于小镇的Muriel决定自力更生，从父亲银行户头盗用一大笔钱，决定离岛闯一番天下，在岛上她遇上旧日死党劳达，二人决定到悉尼过独立生活，她对婚姻的热诚仍没减退，于是到婚纱公司穿婚纱，实现梦想，同时又籍着单身杂志的征友信箱遇上准奥运选手大卫。她对大卫一见钟情，但大卫却对她并无爱意，大卫只想籍Muriel的身分来取得居留权。籍以参加奥运，所以婚后二人貌合神离，Muriel最后终于洞悉恋爱的真谛。
